Most of our facebook and twitter followers know but for those that missed it, Ginna Parsons with the Tupelo Daily Journal did an article about our store that appeared in their paper last Friday (September 13th). The article focused on the Milk Paint and the Clay/Chalk/ Mineral Base Paints we sell. We felt Ginna did and fantastic job and not only highlighted our store but The American Paint Company, The Real Milk Paint Company and our vendors as well. This was a much unexpected and pleasant blessing. You can read the full article at this LINK. Thank you Ginna.
In other news, Our October 10th Milk Paint Workshop is now full. We will post an update on facebook if we have any cancellations. We will have another Milk Paint class sometime in November. Also, we will be picking a date and time for our Clay/Chalk/Mineral Base Paint Workshop soon. Our staff will be attending an American Paint Company training workshop in North Carolina in mid-October so we want to wait until we return before we have the class. While we have been painting with this type paint for a while now, we want to make sure we have all the correct and up to date information to pass on to you, our customer. Look for the Clay/Chalk/Mineral Base Paint class to be held in late October or early November. As soon as we know, you will.
We are thrilled to be adding an exciting and unique line of jewelry to the store that should be arriving soon. When it does we will post some pictures on facebook and twitter. That is all we want to say for now other than, we know you are going to love it. We also will be adding a different line of candles and fragrances later this month. Like with the jewelry, we know you will enjoy these new scents just in time for fall and the upcoming holidays.
Finally, we hope to see everyone in downtown Pontotoc on September 27th and 28th at the Bodock Festival. We will have our tent set up in the Flea Market section and look forward to seeing some of our current customers and hopefully making some new friends. Also, don’t forget to pickup your copy of Invitation Oxford and/or Invitation Tupelo when you stop by the store. We hope we have resolved our problem of running out of them so fast. That just goes to show how good a magazine it is, plus it’s free!
